FeastDelights is an English-language recipe website for home cooks around the world. We publish practical recipes and cooking guidance designed to help readers understand what they are making, how to complete each step, and what the finished dish should look and taste like.
Our recipe collection is not limited to one country or cuisine. Each dish is presented according to its own culinary origin, ingredients, preparation method, and regional context. When a recipe differs meaningfully from an established version, we identify it as an adaptation rather than presenting it as the only traditional method.
Ownership and Publishing Responsibility
FeastDelights is currently owned and published by Hez Arslan.
As the owner and publisher, Hez Arslan is responsible for the website’s overall publishing direction, editorial policies, contributor assignments, and core content standards. He also contributes practical recipes and cooking guides under his own author profile.
Ownership and authorship are treated as separate responsibilities. A change in website ownership does not change the original author of a recipe. Articles continue to display the contributor responsible for their written content.
Lera Brumina and Savva Loginov remain FeastDelights recipe contributors. They are credited on the recipes and guides assigned to them, but they are not presented as the current owners or publishers of the website.
FeastDelights was previously organised around a Ukrainian-first editorial direction. Under its current ownership, the website is being developed as an international recipe resource. Older articles, categories, images, author descriptions, and interface text are being reviewed as part of this change.
Ukrainian recipes may remain in the collection when they are accurate and useful, just as recipes from Italian, Pakistani, Mexican, French, American, Middle Eastern, Asian, and other culinary traditions may be published. No single cuisine represents the identity of the entire website.
Who FeastDelights Is For
FeastDelights is written for people who prepare food in real home kitchens, including:
- Beginners learning basic cooking and baking techniques
- Busy home cooks looking for practical everyday meals
- Families planning breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts
- Bakers who need clear quantities and doneness cues
- Readers exploring dishes from unfamiliar cuisines
- Cooks looking for sensible ingredient substitutions
- Anyone trying to understand why a recipe worked or what went wrong
We explain unfamiliar cooking terms and avoid assuming that every reader uses the same ingredients, equipment, measurements, or regional food names.
What You Will Find on FeastDelights
Depending on the dish, a FeastDelights recipe may include:
- A clear explanation of the dish and its expected flavour and texture
- Preparation, cooking, resting, and total times
- A stated serving yield
- Metric and US customary measurements where useful
- Celsius and Fahrenheit cooking temperatures
- Recommended equipment and pan sizes
- Ingredients grouped by recipe component
- Numbered instructions in the correct working order
- Visual, tactile, or temperature-based doneness cues
- Practical substitutions and their likely effect on the result
- Troubleshooting for common cooking problems
- Serving, storage, freezing, and reheating guidance
- Relevant cultural or historical context
- Focused answers to questions not already covered in the recipe
We let the recipe determine the length of the article. A simple dish may need only a concise explanation, while bread, pastry, preserving, sauces, or technique-focused recipes may require more detail.
How Our Recipes Are Developed
Topic Selection and Research
A FeastDelights recipe begins with a useful cooking task rather than a target word count. Topics may be selected because readers need clearer instructions, an existing recipe requires improvement, an ingredient is seasonal, or an important dish is missing from the collection.
Before drafting, the assigned contributor reviews the dish’s established ingredients, terminology, preparation methods, regional variations, and relevant food-safety considerations.
Drafting and Editorial Review
The ingredient list and cooking method are developed as one connected set of instructions. Quantities, serving yield, timing, equipment, temperatures, substitutions, and storage guidance are checked for consistency.
Editorial review may examine:
- Missing or incorrectly ordered steps
- Ingredients listed but not used
- Quantities that do not match the method
- Unclear heat levels, temperatures, pan sizes, or timings
- Measurement conversions that do not agree
- Unsupported health, nutrition, or authenticity claims
- Substitutions that could affect structure or safety
- Cultural descriptions that overlook regional variation
- Instructions that assume knowledge a beginner may not have
Kitchen testing and editorial review are not the same. A recipe is described as kitchen-tested only when it has been physically prepared using the published ingredients and method and a useful test record has been retained. A research-based or editorially reviewed recipe is not presented as a documented kitchen test.
Read our Editorial Policy for a detailed explanation of these standards.
Measurements and Ingredient Guidance
FeastDelights serves readers in different countries. Recipes may provide metric weights alongside US customary measurements where both are useful. Oven temperatures may be stated in Celsius and Fahrenheit, and pan dimensions are included when they can affect the result.
Conversions are checked for the relevant ingredient rather than applying one cup-to-gram value to every product.
When an ingredient has different regional names, we explain the distinction. Substitutions are recommended only when there is a reasonable basis for believing they will work. Where necessary, we explain how a change may affect flavour, texture, structure, cooking time, yield, nutrition, or safety.
Respecting Culinary Origins
Traditional and regional dishes often have several legitimate versions. FeastDelights does not present one family, regional, or modern version as the only authentic method when meaningful variations exist.
We aim to:
- Identify a dish’s origin carefully
- Use culturally accurate ingredient and technique names
- Recognise documented regional variations
- Distinguish traditional methods from modern adaptations
- Explain unfamiliar terms for international readers
- Avoid invented cultural memories or unsupported authenticity claims
Cultural context is included when it helps readers understand the food, not simply as decoration.

Visit our Authors page to learn more about the contributors and view their published recipes.
Images and Digital Tools
FeastDelights may use original photography, licensed images, stock photography, or generated editorial illustrations. Images should represent the dish or explain a useful cooking step accurately. An image is not presented as proof that a recipe was physically tested.
Digital tools may assist with research organisation, early drafting, editing, measurement checks, metadata, or illustration. Human review remains necessary before publication. Automated output is not treated as evidence for cooking results, cultural claims, nutrition information, or food-safety guidance.
Updates and Corrections
Recipes may be reviewed after publication when we find an error, receive useful reader feedback, clarify a difficult step, improve measurement accuracy, or confirm more reliable information.
Material changes involving ingredient quantities, cooking temperatures, timing, food safety, allergens, cultural origin, or the expected result should be explained when readers need to understand what changed.
To report an error, use our Contact Us page or email info@feastdelights.com. Include the recipe title, complete page URL, the exact information in question, and any useful supporting evidence.
