This oven-baked pizza starts with a simple yeast dough and a classic tomato, mozzarella and optional ham topping. Let the dough rise until puffy, preheat the oven thoroughly and bake until the crust is browned and the cheese is bubbling. Mix warm water, yeast and sugar. Stir in flour, salt and olive oil. Knead 8 minutes until elastic. Cover dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Heat oven to 240°C (465°F) with a baking sheet or pizza stone inside. Stretch dough into a 30 cm round on parchment. Spread with sauce, add mozzarella, tomato, optional cooked meat and oregano. Slide onto hot tray or stone and bake 10 to 15 minutes until crust is browned and cheese bubbles. Rest 3 minutes before slicing.
